Generator Installation in Wales, UT

It depends on whether you want everything or only the essentials. A furnace, well pump, fridge, a few lights and the internet is a modest load. Adding central air and an electric range pushes you into a much larger unit. We total the real numbers first so you are not sold more machine than the house needs.

A standby unit starts on its own within seconds and needs no attention during an outage, which matters in winter in Wales when the power drops at 2am. A portable with an inlet box costs less up front but means going outside, starting it, and refuelling every few hours.

Yes. We come back for oil, filters, battery and a load test, and we can set a reminder schedule so the annual visit does not get forgotten. A generator that never gets exercised is the one that will not start when Wales loses power.

Most residential standby installs take one to two days on site once the unit and pad are ready. Coordinating the gas supply and the utility can add lead time, which we lay out at quoting so your calendar is not a surprise.
